"informaNation" is a 33-minute, locally produced documentary featuring St. Louis veterans
and peace activists. The film discusses the need for full-disclosure in military recruiting. It offers young people the truth about the omissions and misrepresentations recruiters use when persuading them to sign up for the military. The film also invites its audience to think about the role of war in our society, and how we quickly need to move away from war as a means to resolving world conflicts.
This DVD was conceived by Dorian Hadley and edited by Ben Zweig, both from Webster University. Michael Berger did the final editing.
The film features Bud Deraps and Lincoln Grahlfs, WWII veterans; Michael McPhearson, National Chairperson for Veterans for Peace and JE McNeil, Director of Center on Conscience and War.
Alternatives to Military Service Network and Mike Berger wish to thank the producers of "Arlington West" for permission to include portions of their poignant film.
